Global DirectorLyn is one of Australia’s most influential animal advocates, recognised nationally and internationally for her integrity, courage and impact. A former police officer, her work spanning multiple countries has exposed systemic cruelty and driven significant change, earning her global respect as both an investigator and strategic advocate. In recent years, Lyn has initiated multiple ground-breaking projects designed to create recognition for the human psychological impact for workers who are required to harm or kill animals within their industries. In 2015, Lyn was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant contribution to the field of animal protection — and is a rare two-time state finalist for Australian of the Year, reflecting the deep regard held for her work within the community.

Gabriel Paun
EU DirectorSpecialising in nature sciences, diplomacy and international relations, Gabi has more than two decades of experience campaigning for the protection of animals and the environment. He has worked with organisations including Greenpeace, Agent Green, Four Paws and Animals International. His work focuses on investigating and exposing harmful practices by governments and corporations and advancing practical solutions to drive political and systemic change. Gabi is a recipient of the United Nations’ Champion of the Earth award. He has also been recognised by POLITICO, a leading international political journalism outlet, in its editorial rankings of influential figures shaping political and policy debates.

US DirectorLindsay is an award-winning investigator, strategist and executive with more than two decades of experience leading global non-profits and high-impact campaigns. She has personally conducted or overseen more than a hundred investigations across industries including zoos, circuses, animal agriculture and research laboratories. Her work has generated extensive media coverage and contributed to meaningful corporate and legislative change. Lindsay is the founder of Justify, a non-profit organisation that supports workers struggling in animal research laboratories, reflecting her commitment to addressing both animal suffering and its impact on people. She is also the author of a forthcoming book about her experiences inside primate testing labs.

Dr Jennifer Hood
Veterinary DirectorDr Jennifer Hood BSc Hons BVMS PhD is Veterinary Director of Animals Australia and Animals International and Mentor to Sintesia Animalia Indonesia, which is funded by Animals Australia. She is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Murdoch University in the School of Veterinary Medicine. Jeni has led a decolonised approach to animal welfare in Indonesia and is passionate about the emergence of Sintesia as a leading animal welfare organisation that is run by and for Indonesians. Jeni has a background in academia; Government, as an animal welfare regulator, and in animal welfare advocacy.
